ITA Online School

About ITA Online Program

With the growing interest from students of Tamil Diaspora across the country who are unable to attend Tamil classes in ITA branches or one of the affiliated schools, ITA has decided to offer online Tamil classes.

Student Enrollment & Admission

When a student enrolls for ITA Online program, the following steps need to be followed before the student is admitted to the program:

  1. The Principal/Registration Officer will reach out to the student to confirm their exact address.
  2. The Principal/Registration Officer will check if there is an affiliated school within a 15 mile radius of the address.
  3. If there is no school within a 15 mile radius of the student’s address or the affiliated school does not have the requested class, the student will be admitted to the online HSCP program.

Obtaining approval from the school district for credit on transcript

For students admitted into the HSCP Online program and seeking high school credit, ITA Online HSCP Officer/Principal will work with the parents and the school district to get approval for HSCP credit to be placed on the student’s high school transcript. The ITA HSCP officer/Principal will be assisted by the ITA HSCP Head and other core volunteers of ITA. ITA Online HSCP Officer/Principal will follow all timelines as stipulated by the school district in submitting necessary documentation to the school district.
